Product Description
Tito, a 12 year old boy, who arrives in a small sugar mill town five hundred miles east of Havana in the year 1936 with his father and mother. The family needed to leave the capital where their father's excesses had led to their financial and ruin. Tito, who has always felt he was different from his peers, struggles with his emerging sexuality. Talented in arts, he finds that refuge from his problems by drawing the nude figures of men in a pad he hides. As he strives for independence, he finds himself in the middle of endless battles between a sexually repressed mother and a father who is driven by his two palliatives, excessive drinking and sexual adventures to a tragic end.
